Yesterday *sigh*. Had on my urgent/important list as the first thing to do the newsletter. And I never got to it. Why? Because I thought I should advertise what our next Adult Ed offering will be in it and I hadn't decided on what to do. So I spent the afternoon looking at various education/Bible Study options and before long it was clear it was too late to put the thing together, get it copied and in the mail for arrival today. Blah. So I stayed late and worked on Holy Week bulletins and other tasks. Thought maybe I would work on it from home or early this morning.
But I was tired and feeling down when I got home last night (might write more about why later). Since it was after 10pm I ate and hibernated on the couch. This morning I was still not feeling the most chipper when the alarm went off. Decided that since we have our evening program officially I shouldn't be working all 3 timeblocks of the day. So I stayed in the covers and prayed for a while, and came in a little later.
So now my task... is to stay on task. Put this thing together before I can do anything else, if it kills me (which it won't). So I've got some upbeat music playing through itunes, my soda, a candle. Here I go. Focus, focus, focus.

I will share with you a curriculum that I used for the first time with our adults, and it has gone over well. www.thethoughtfulchristian.com.
We've just done the Lenten series, but there are all kinds of things to explore. I really liked the layout - I don't consider myself a great teacher, so I much appreciated the leader's guide. Good luck!
