After writing the last post I decided to view at least one profile before bed.
Gotta say, maybe they aren't off-target with all their suggestions after all. A 47 year old NT professor who seems to have a sense of humor seems kind of interesting, there's some definite overlap with what I'd be looking for, at least based on this preliminary info. Good grief he even mentions Amy Jill-Levine in his profile. I bet I don't find another that does that! :)
The drawbacks... he has a job (okay yes, employment is a good thing) he seems to like and thus in current economy probably would not be interested in uprooting himself from the state he is in. He's also a messianic jew and says he's committed to living a jewish lifestyle. But he's listed as Christian and eharmony matched him with me, so he must be open to dating Christian women. But how living a jewish lifestyle for him would fit with a partner who's clergy??? Not sure. If nothing else but to help with future matches I clicked I was interested. The rest I leave for another day.
One last thing... I wonder what some people are thinking with the photo(s) that are posted. In the age of the camera phone, digital camera, and computer webcams, how difficult can it be to come up with one photo that is in focus that is somewhat recent?
